Ncuti Gatwa plays the fifteenth Doctor going into season 1 of the iconic British series
Doctor Who Season 1 (previously known as Doctor Who Season 14) is the first season of the legendary sci-fi adventure series produced by BBC Studios. The series started in 1963 and has seen 14 different actors previously take on the role of Doctor Who. Russel T Davies acts as head writer and executive producer for the season.
Sex Education’s Ncuti Gatwa stars as the fifteenth Doctor, debuting his version of the character in season 1. He is joined by Coronation Street’s Millie Gibson, who plays the Doctor’s companion, Ruby Sunday. Gibson is the youngest companion of the Doctor to date. Jemma Redgrave reprises her role as UNIT head Kate Lethbridge-Stewart, while Jinkx Monsoon plays a powerful new villain. The cast also features Aneurin Barnard as the mysterious Roger ap Gwilliam, Anita Dobson, Michelle Greenidge, Indira Varma, Jack Forsyth-Noble, and Jonathan Groff.
