The Doctor Who season 14 cast also features Jemma Redgrave returning as UNIT head Kate Lethbridge-Stewart, with Aneurin Barnard as Roger ap Gwilliam and Jinkx Monsoon as a dangerous new villain. Anita Dobson, Jonathan Groff, Michelle Greenidge, Indira Varma and Jack Forsyth-Noble appear as well.
Who is Ncuti Gatwa?
Ncuti Gatwa rose to fame as Eric Effiong in the Netflix comedy series Sex Education.
His breakout role in Sex Education earned him three BAFTA Television Award nominations and a BAFTA Scotland Award for Best Male Comedy Performance. Gatwa has also appeared in Barbie and Masters of the Air.

Russell T Davies leads Doctor Who season 14 as head writer and executive producer, returning to the show after more than 10 years. The other season 14 writers are Kate Herron, Briony Redman and former showrunner Steven Moffat. The season consists of eight episodes, which are directed by Julie Anne Robinson, Dylan Holmes Williams, Ben Chessell and Jamie Donoughue.
